  • A Yes, the battery is shipped with only a partial charge.
  • Q Will the battery build memory?
  • A No, Li-Ion batteries will not build a memory.
  • Q Do I need to unplug the cable from the battery holder after every use?
  • A No, not after every use but you should unplug the cable from the holder when not using the light for extended periods of time.
  • Q Is the brightness mode of this light programmable?
  • A Yes, the second brightness mode of this light is completely programmable.  It is recommended to use the second mode and set the brightness between 40 - 60% while scanning. This will give the hunter plenty of light to see the predator's eyes at 200+ yards but not too much light to spook the predator. The run time on 50% brightness is about 8 1/2 hours. The run time on the high mode (100% brightness) is approximately 3 1/2 hours.
  • Q How do I change the brightness?
  • A While the light is turned on, hold the power button down for approximately three seconds then release the button. The brightness will ramp up or down depending on the mode you are in. When the desired brightness is achieved push the button a second time to lock the brightness into memory.
  • Q How do I get the light to flash/strobe/or blink?
  • A Hold the power button down for approximately three seconds while the light is turned off then release the button. To change from one mode to another just repeat the same procedure. The light will remember the last mode that was set.
  • Q Does the Headlamp have a low battery warning?
  • A Yes, It will give 10 warning blinks approximately 20 minutes prior to the light shutting off indicating to the hunter that the battery needs charged.
